Cursor is rolling out Origin, a code hosting platform, to paid users right as GitHub suffered an outage lasting over six hours. Origin lets teams connect existing GitHub repos so GitHub stays the source of truth, meaning zero switching cost to try it and nothing breaks if abandoned.
